P5.js, PAPER, FOUND BOOKS

These explorations began in the class 'Recreating the Past' at the School for Poetic Computation as post-concrete recreations of analog and electronic poems, approaching the text through new ways of presenting and experiencing it.

By exploring, distorting, and setting them in motion, the poems become displaced, and the question arises: What happens if the expected way of reading a text is disrupted?

This practice is a constant investigation that informs my artistic process. I want to understand how electronic and post-concrete poetry has been created in the past by recreating it with the resources at my disposal. Simultaneously, this reveals how electronic poetry has always had to use or "hack" the technology of the moment.

i was raised in a city created for tourists and rampant consumption where i learned how to write in between the margins where i learned to enjoy the symptom of liminality where i learned to enjoy flashy devotion, whenever im using a computer i feel so much freedom, i could do whatever i want, write wherever i want, create things out of thin air, alienated, we learn to love the tonality of the life we lived when we grew up, that’s why i love airports and empty malls and anything quiet and devoid of movement, i have learned to love freedom more than anything else and that is just the way it is
